DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun-filled\, family-friendly carnival-style event featuring food\, drinks\, and entertainment for kids and adults alike! Enjoy activities including yard games\, face painting\, bingo\, raffles\, and much more. Register here! \nThe event will be held at the beautiful Lake Ellyn Boathouse and surrounding park in Glen Ellyn on Sunday\, October 4\, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. Feel free to join us at any time during the event as we remember Eddie and raise funds for EMF’s Helping Heart Families program.  \nEvent tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for kids under the age of 18 (free for 2 years and under). Your ticket includes event admission\, food\, and non-alcoholic beverages. SUMMARY:Advocate's Service of Remembrance
DESCRIPTION:In November\, The Eddie Mayerik Foundation will once again be providing desserts for Advocate Children’s Hospital’s annual Service of Remembrance honoring families who have lost a child. This will be our third year providing desserts\, and it is an especially meaningful event for us because we know firsthand what it feels like to sit where these families are sitting. The Service of Remembrance brings together families in a beautiful ceremony to honor our kiddos that have left us too soon.\n\n\nWe love that we have started this tradition – being able to support these families\, share Eddie’s story\, and shine his bright light is a blessing we hold close to our hearts.
